Cooperative Month is annually celebrated in the month of October. Year 2015 marks the centennial celebration of the cooperative movement in the Philippines with the theme, “KOOPERATIBA: Ika-100 Taong Pagpupugay, Tulay sa Maunlad Na Buhay.” The Mines and Geosciences Bureau 13 Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MGB 13 EMPC) is almost 17 years in existence. It is working for the welfare of its members by providing financial assistance through loans, goods and other services at reasonable cost to MGB 13 personnel. As a result, it has helped uplift the quality of life of its members. As of 2014, the MGB 13 EMPC has 37 active members. In keeping with the 2015 Cooperative Month Celebration, the MGB 13 EMPC conducted the following activities: Posting of Tarpaulin from October 1 to 31, 2015 Tree Planting on October 10, 2015 at Sitio San Roque, Brgy.
